Granite State Future is the New Left’s Dream Act of an escalating bureaucracy, crony private/public partnerships at taxpayers’ expense, centralized top-down decision making and suppression of free enterprise and liberty.  Why bother doing a cost/benefit analysis?

Alexis de Tocqueville (who knew nothing about Regional Planners or Sustainable Communities Initiative or Regional Equity Teams) warned America that if its spirit of free self-government were ever to be killed off, massive cities desperate for a centralized welfare state would strike the final blow.  The ethic of individual free enterprise is key to our civil society where everyone regardless of ethnicity, religion or social status has the same rights to pursue self-improvement.   This message is suppressed by the schemes of the Regional top-down planners.

There are some misinformed liberal writers who send letters to the editor that apparently believe American social programs that are designed to help the poor, disabled, and unfortunate, (that many of us support), such as unemployment, food stamps, and social security disability... are the very same as a total socialistic America.

NO! the difference here is America, is that freedom can be lost!  It is not an allusion, because if Presidential political abusive power is in the wrong hands, it can destroy a country by circumventing established laws.

The Greek economy is falling apart. Yet pretty much all we hear about is the need for a bailout to prevent Greece from defaulting. What we don’t hear about is that any bailout will not go to the Greek people but to the banks and institutional investors.

So what does this mean for the people of Greece? The NY Times and several other news outlets have written about the problems the Greek people are facing. Since we are doing everything we can to drive off the cliff of economic ruin ourselves, I thought it might be interesting to see what a future that includes economic disaster looks like for people not banks.

Fox News has canceled the show, Freedom Watch, hosted by Judge Andrew Napolitano. The Judge is a stanch defender of the Constitution and his show focused on the dangers posed to our freedom and liberty by an ever growing Federal government bent on controlling every aspect of our lives. The growth in the power of this "central government" has been promoted by both Republicans and Democrats.  Please read on.......

As we come to the end of 2011, taxpayers in the town of Salem, NH are still reeling from the increases felt by the revaluation of homes in Salem.

We are all familiar with the John Kerry Conundrum Disorder. It’s the ability of a Washington politician to be “for” an issue before they were “against” it. Well, apparently it’s contagious. Please read on……..

This week, we saw an extraordinary display of civic exposure, watching James O’Keefe and crew acquire ballots for voters who recently died. But that’s not all of it.

After reading this article, I learned that our voter checklists are not all they are cracked up to be.  In addition to listing recently-deceased people, there are cases of people moving out of state, or to other New Hampshire towns, without being purged from the list.  Given these cases, some people may actually be able to vote multiple times, without challenge.
