The 912 Project is coming to Windham and this local, non-partisan group will be known as the Southern NH 912 Project. The organizers of the group describe themselves as conservatives who believe in our country's founding principals. They are passionate about the need for our government to return to those principles and operate according to the Constitution. Departure from those ideals threatens our liberty and has led to an escalation of government spending - so out of control, that we have already mortgaged the future of our children and grandchildren. This group has been formed so like-minded members of our community can meet and discuss their concerns in order to pursue solutions together. A part of each meeting will be devoted to a brief town meeting style forum where a NH State Representative or Senator will spend a few minutes updating the group on recent activities at the State House. This segment of the meeting will provide the opportunity for personal, two-way communication between citizens and their elected officials. Members of the group will be able to express their approval, thoughts and/or concerns to those who were elected to represent them. Each meeting will also feature a prominent guest speaker to inform and inspire those in attendance. The first of these guests will be one of New Hampshire's best known patriots - Jack Kimball, a dynamic, liberty minded conservative that made a run for Governor in 2010, and is currently serving as the Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party. The group will meet at the Windham Senior Center at 7:30PM on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning June 14th.
