As of last week, Americans are still sinking in debt as was reported by NBC and Fox news. As a nation under pressure, the total amount spent this year by the Big government in Washington, DC, under President Obama was $3.6 Trillion dollars and taxes taken in was $2.4 Trillion dollars for a deficit of $1.2 Trillion dollars. This is not the act of sane elected political people that represent us as a nation.
We have a Big government out of control and people protesting! The President and Democrats in Washington keep trying to come up with more spending ideas like stimulus money and give aways (no pay back loans), $4.7 Billion to individuals and companies that work in the solar paneling green environmental fields. This is a scandalous use of taxpayers money such as, Solyndra now a national embarrassment with more to come and hit the fan.
The Occupy protesters should protest the waste of resources trying to create jobs. Where one green job created causes two existing jobs in the economy to be lost. They should be protesting against President Obama as he is the one who voted to give raises in the millions of dollars for ”Goldman Sachs” employees after he approved TARP, a milt- Billion dollar bailout of Big investment houses and banks too big to fail with connections to hedge fund managed companies in government favor.
The failed government housing policies of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac stuck the tax payers for another $140 Billion dollars in losses. The sum of the good intentions by those protesting is they seem to not want to work to solve the problem, just blame all American businesses that try to create jobs for them by backing all the heavy regulations imposed on businesses by big government -- thus stopping job growth in its tracks.
Are the Occupiers interested to getting Americans back to work or are they out to support and foster extreme progressive liberal destructive ideas against our free enterprise system of private business by supporting the repressive President Obama's BIG government policies? Time will tell if the Occupiers will understand who really mislead them and smarten up to seek a positive solutions rather than blame the wrong people for their plight! America needs to get back to its Constitutional greatness which will benefit everyone by having a free and competitive country with smaller government.
