Yes, both the Republicans and the Democrats support big government.
I offer two bits of information to support this charge. First, the federal budget projections from last year. In February of 2011 President Obama came forward with his ten year budget plan showing an increase in the National debt of $10 trillion dollars over ten years. This would leave us with a debt of over $24 trillion! The Republicans gave us the Ryan Budget. It increased the national debt by more than $7 trillion to $21 trillion. Both are unsustainable.
Second, in November of 2010, the Republicans were handed one of the largest landslide victories in history on the basis of a return to sound money, cutting spending and the protection of our liberty as guaranteed to us by the Constitution. Yet what have they given us? No audit of the Federal Reserve, not $1 of actual spending cuts, an increase in the debt ceiling of $2.4 trillion, and the NDAA which now allows for the unlimited detention of American citizens on American soil without charge.
Where is the outrage?
The main stream news media, including the broadcast networks of CBS. ABC, and NBC as well as the cable outlets of Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, all promote the ideas of bigger government. The only difference between them is that some argue from the position of the left while the others argue from the right. I am tired of this endless banter. Yet, with just one exception, none of them truly works toward informing the American people about the real problems we face.
This lone exception, Judge Napolitano. Below is a link to a clip from one of his shows where he talks about the dangers of the Federal Reserve. Better watch it quickly before it, like his show Freedom Watch, is no longer available.
PS: If you want to voice your opinion to Fox News about the cancellation of Freedom Watch here is the contact information:
