A couple of things hit me in the news this morning.
1. Rick Perry to Undergo Colonoscopy.
It appears that the news media’s colonoscopy of Governor Rick Perry of Texas is underway. The AP is reporting that Perry and his wife earned just over $2 million in wages. Gee, that’s a lot of money! We all know that earning money is not looked favorably upon by many in our society today.

Our founding fathers knew that liberty and property are inseparable. James Madison said, "It is sufficiently obvious, that persons and property are the two great subjects on which Governments are to act; and that the rights of persons, and the rights of property, are the objects, for the protection of which Government was instituted. These rights cannot well be separated."
As time passes, the wisdom of our founding fathers continues to fade from memory, as well as the foundation of our liberties and freedoms. No one is against preserving and protecting our natural resources. Conservation is important for our current and future generations, but the environmental movement has been coopted by radical ideologists who wish to impose their political agendas on Americans, under the guise of protecting the planet.
Our property rights -- and freedom -- are under attack. The movie "Crying Wolf" provides a new insight into environmental extremist restrictions that are being imposed on us by unelected bureaucrats.
